Choose by use case, explore routes and plans
Network performance comes down to whether the services you use connect reliably, whether long-lived connections stay stable, and whether switching devices means configuring everything again. The sections below cover routes, encryption, devices, and billing based on practical use. The window illustrates product features; it does not show a live connection. Check the user panel after signing in for current route and plan availability.
Choose a route based on results during peak hours
Slow loading during peak hours can be caused by your local network, the cross-border route, or the destination service. VPNGain offers IEPL, transit, and direct routes so you can compare performance on the same device and in the same app. Choose a destination first, then check whether pages load, videos buffer, or file transfers run smoothly. If performance varies, keep your other settings and switch only the route for another test. Route types can help guide your choice, but they do not guarantee the same speeds on every network or replace testing the destination service itself.

Quantum encryption and account security
An encrypted connection is a basic safeguard when accessing international services on public or shared networks. VPNGain uses quantum encryption, but you should still make sure the client is connected and access sites through their usual secure entry points. A username and password are all you need to get started; no email address is required. Keep your account credentials and subscription details secure, and don't include them in public screenshots or share them with others. Encryption does not replace a website's own account protections or eliminate risks from downloaded files, browser extensions, or your devices. See the privacy policy for details on data handling.

- No email required

Unlimited devices, shared data allowance
Use the same subscription on your work computer, personal devices, and home computer without freeing up connection slots every time you switch. VPNGain allows unlimited simultaneous devices and supports Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, and Linux. Install the client and retrieve the subscription on each device, then check system permissions and proxy settings separately. Unlimited devices does not mean unlimited data: all devices on the subscription share its plan allowance. If you're streaming, syncing, and downloading at the same time, use the panel's usage information to choose a plan rather than basing your choice on device count alone.
- Unlimited devices

AI tools: check each app's network path
Web chat, editor autocomplete, and command-line requests for AI tools may use different network settings. VPNGain provides international routes for these apps. Check the destination service's regional requirements first, choose an appropriate exit location, and confirm whether the app uses the client proxy. A website loading in your browser does not mean your editor or terminal is using the same route. If output is interrupted, check the connection and account status for each app. Here, direct access refers to the use case, not a promise about a particular route type. Account eligibility, regional rules, and fees are determined by the platform.

- Check each app separately

Streaming access: verify playback for yourself
When you stream international content, the exit region, your platform account, and content rights can all affect the catalog and playback. VPNGain offers routes in different regions. Connect to the region for your content, then check the catalog and playback on the platform itself; being able to open its home page is not enough to confirm access. If the platform reports a region mismatch, stop playback and try another route in the same region. Video quality also depends on your local network, device, and platform plan. The network subscription does not include a streaming membership and does not guarantee access to every platform or title at all times. Check your remaining data before a long viewing session.
- Choose a route by region
- Platform rules still apply
- Verify playback
7-day refund policy
Whether a route works for your everyday needs is best checked on your usual devices and networks, not judged by its location or the plan's data allowance alone. VPNGain offers a 7-day refund policy; see the Terms of Service for eligibility and instructions. After activation, test the websites, work tools, and streaming services you use, and note how they perform at different times. To request a refund, submit your order details through a support ticket in the user panel. Payment options include Alipay, WeChat Pay, and USDT. Keep your order record in the panel and don't share payment credentials publicly.

This overview covers both connection capabilities and their limits: choosing a route does not change a destination website's account rules, and unlimited devices does not mean unlimited data. If something goes wrong, first note what you can reproduce, then work through the checks in Troubleshooting. This is more useful than changing every setting at once.
Cross-border routes, organized by region
VPNGain's international network covers 110+ countries and 240+ routes. The examples below show popular locations and route types to help you narrow down your options. Tokyo, Hong Kong, Singapore, Los Angeles, and Frankfurt serve different access needs, but distance alone isn't the deciding factor. Your local connection, congestion along the route, and the destination service's location all affect performance. Start with the service you need and its regional requirements, then compare routes in the same region instead of chasing a route name.
IEPL routes may be worth considering when consistent connectivity is a priority. Transit routes connect through an intermediate path and can be compared with other options; direct routes offer a more direct path. These descriptions are not a speed ranking and don't mean every region will perform the same way. For work tools and streaming in particular, verify sign-in, ongoing requests, and actual playback separately. Don't assume that a page loading once means every app will work.
| Country / region | City | Route type | Streaming access |
|---|---|---|---|
| Japan | Tokyo | IEPL routes | Test with your streaming platform |
| Hong Kong | Hong Kong | IEPL routes | Test with your streaming platform |
| Singapore | Singapore | Transit route | Test with your streaming platform |
| United States | Los Angeles | Direct route | Test with your streaming platform |
| Germany | Frankfurt | Transit route | Test with your streaming platform |
Client downloads and subscription access
Available for Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, and Linux. Get the client from the user panel. To retrieve your subscription, sign in to the panel; real subscription URLs are not shown on public pages. On platforms other than iOS, sign in to download. The panel handles eligibility for iOS downloads. Select your operating system, follow the panel's instructions to install and configure the client, then check its connection status.
For your first setup, complete the full process on a device you use regularly before configuring your other devices. If your subscription list doesn't appear after import, check the account you signed in with and your plan status, then check for updates. Don't copy subscription details onto public webpages. You can use the same subscription on another device, but system proxy permissions, background activity, and app settings don't carry over automatically; check them on each device.
Check the connection before opening apps
Once the client shows a successful connection, test a website you use regularly, then check your work tools and video playback. If your browser works but an app doesn't, the issue may be with that app's network path; it doesn't necessarily mean the route is unavailable. The Quick Start guide walks through the full setup, while Troubleshooting offers checks based on what you're experiencing.
Update your subscription and protect your account details
Manage route lists and subscription status through the panel. Keep account credentials and subscription details on trusted devices, and redact personal information from screenshots before submitting them for support. If an update fails, first check that your regular internet connection is working, then confirm your plan and data status in the panel. For help, submit a support ticket through the panel.
Monthly plans and data packages
Choose a plan based on your typical data use, not the number of devices. Monthly plan data resets each month on your activation date, making it suitable for ongoing use. Data packages last until used and never expire, which can suit less predictable usage. Devices on the same subscription share data. Before choosing, consider whether you'll mainly browse, connect to work tools, or stream and download regularly.

Data packages: use them anytime; they never expire
¥158 / 300GB · ¥358 / 1000GB · ¥658 / 3000GB
If your needs vary from month to month, a data package lets you use your allowance as needed without a monthly reset. The main difference from a monthly plan is how data is used, not any extra promise about speed or access to streaming platforms. Choose based on how often you expect to use it, not just the total data allowance. Check the plans page and user panel for full billing details and current options.
How resets and upgrades work
Monthly plan data resets each month on your activation date; it does not necessarily reset on the first day of the calendar month. When you upgrade mid-cycle, the price difference is prorated based on the remaining days. Confirm the final order details in the panel. If your usage temporarily increases, check your current data and account status before choosing an adjustment. You don't need to move to a larger plan just because you add a device.
Payments and refunds
Pay with Alipay, WeChat Pay, or USDT. A 7-day refund policy is available. Before paying, check the plan name, data allowance, and billing method, then keep your order record. If the order status doesn't match your payment, check the order in the panel first, then submit the relevant details through a support ticket. The Terms of Service explain refund eligibility and how to apply.
Before choosing VPNGain, check the details that matter: no email address is required; you can get started with a username and password. Supported platforms are listed, and device limits are explained separately from plan data. Monthly plans and data packages work differently, and support is handled through tickets in the panel. Whether a route suits your network still depends on how your regular apps perform, not just the coverage area or a marketing claim.
Setup guides and practical tips
These guides tackle specific questions: Android setup covers installation, subscriptions, and permissions; first-time users can learn the connection and verification steps; and developer workflows call for separate checks in browsers, editors, and command-line tools. The articles can help you assess settings and routes, but they don't replace the destination platform's account rules or promise that a connection will always work. For help configuring the service, start with Quick Start. If you already know what is failing, go to Troubleshooting.
Android VPN Setup: Install a Client, Import a Subscription, and Test Your Connection
Follow the steps from installing the client to importing your subscription, checking system permissions, and configuring background activity. Once connected, test whether the apps you use regularly follow the expected network path; a connection icon alone doesn't confirm that setup is complete.

Developer tools rely on ongoing requests and long-lived connections, so a working webpage doesn't mean your editor and terminal are configured the same way. Test autocomplete, chat responses, and command-line requests separately, and note any interruptions you can reproduce before changing routes.
